Alright, this is a team game, any killing of Travis's mentor, or killing an actual player will result in the game the killing occurred in to be disbanded PERMANENTLY.

I fear this may be due to me wanting to put an axe into the mentor guy.

At least he didnt mention horribly crippling them. I can still do that.

Yeah, but killing demons isnt very fulfilling. Besides, i'd rather fight a battle where i have a chance of surviving, thank you very much...

Well i dont see you playing a class with any useful combat tactics. Why dont you go offer them a healing potion? Im sure that would go over well.

there more likely to thank him and THEN rip his head off then they are to even be civil enough to not fart at you BEFORE killing you john.....
in my opinion sky has the upper hand, but only by definition.
So lets set some ground rules since no one seems to understand a TEAM GAME.
No killing players/mentors. no harming them, you stick a sword at them, the sword goes through but the attack is as if you are hitting an illusion. So this may be useful, as john can be damaged by an enemy, but if skyler is being held and john swings at sky's head I will allow you to kill the enemy behind sky with only a very light wound to him if any.
NPC's are much more dangerous than any player if I decide so, I decide when they are powerful and whom is powerful, maybe at random, maybe because I just want to be mean.
NPC's MAY be attacked by player's, but Guards are watching over the lawful/good (or any combination [excluding evil/chaotic] thereof) ones. Any chaotic/evil (or any combination [excluding evil/chaotic] thereof) ones are (most likely minions and therefore) watched over by their overlords.
True neutrals ones will be protected by nature itself.
Animals will be defended if they are someones property, as is normal, or if they are on the kings land.
Conscious animals, IE horses, riding animals, attack animals, or magickal animals (if they have sufficient intelligence stats)are always property, or else strong enough to be deemed able to defend itself. If a animal is killed by a player outside of the kings writ, someones land, nor are they another players mount, nor are they protected by druids (who consider any animal within their 'Grounds' to be part of their domain and therefore protect them as if they are a sibling or adopted family member), THEN the animal is free to be killed so long as you are capable of such a feat.
Are there any more comments or questions (of merit/worth) about NPC's or Animals?

and yes I did just spend nearly thirty minutes explaining myself on a topic you should understand already just because you live in society!

thing is, we don't live in society. That's why we hang out here.

we are all immersed in society, and we are immersed in morality. Even if every one of us has a more or less burning desire to kill innocent little babies with an axe.

true but your plot isn't driven by teamwork itself, my game recvolves around the bloody team, and if one dies the game flounders as if it is a soldier in an arena that was just buckshot by someone in the crowd.... while he's fighting off a minotaur empty handed.... do you get my mental picture?

Yeah, it's pretty cool too. But rest assured, I'll take my repressed anger out on any and everything I can get away with killing. You bought yourself one hell of a killing spree when I get a chance.

figured yiou might like that.
however the law is upheld and guards are a fixed level, which is about twice your current level (they are around 6-10 vaguely depending on the guards importance) but they stay at the 6-10 lvl permenantely.

So... when we reach lvl fifteen or so... we can wipe out a village or two?
Yeah, I've decided I like playing chaotic evil characters.

its all based off of passive agressive behavior and subtle manueverings.... basically skyler except lawful neutral/lawful good depends on who he is trying to fight against.

i believe they do, but the evilness is sooo subtle, that their evil points aren't able to be seen.... its like not knowing that someone has a classified folder until its brought into the open....
