Do you want any special branch? For those, look under 'Armor' in the factory. Special Ops is'nt available to start with.

Air force wont have much of a role in this game. The best you can hope for is piloting a large cruiser, and that amounts to pushing a couple buttons and maintaining it's speed. Dogfights only occur very rarely, so if you do wind up as a fighter pilot, then you're gonna have a lot of downtime between missions.

Sure. Lot's of downtime sounds nice.

After your last bout of insubordination, you were demoted to loading weapons into the fighters with the flight deck crew. This has happened before, and it probably wont last very long.

You are currently in one of the hanger-adjacent lounges, reserved mainly for Air Force personnel. The entire place is made of a gray steel-like substance. A handful of red leather sofas are spread around, most with tables in front of them (as steel-like as the walls). A curved bar is at the opposite end of the room. It resembles a crescent, with each end against the wall. Joel Walters, the bartender, stands with an eternal frown on his face (which belies his friendly nature). A small group of pilots sit near the large plate window, which displays a breathtaking view of the planet below. Some of the mechanics are at the bar.

Generally, I based this more off of Wing Commander. That movie influenced the whole fighter pilot, combat and hanger parts of the game.

Well, it's comparatively pretty high (If I use NPC stats for you). You have significantly more combat skills then him, you are more physically fit, and you are quite drunk.

Well, as I've already mentioned several times, the ship is enormous. Encounter odds are pretty low.

It's not a party then, it's just two people going in the same direction.

Without a party leader, or anyone to make decisions rationally, the party dissolves. You dont get penalized for not being considered a party, but the random rolls that one of you wanders off increase.

There are no pool cues
The stools are bolted to the floor

You are both drunk, so dont expect much of a coherent conversation.
